When the Insomniacs move twelve time zones away for Mrs. Insomniac's new job, the family has an impossible time adapting to the change. Venturing out into the dark, they learn there is a whole world still awake and a beauty in their new and unconventional schedule.
The Insomniacs was the debut collaboration of The Brothers Hilts published worldwide by Penguin Random House and subsequently translated into Swedish, French, Japanese, among other languages. The book received a starred Kirkus Review, The Founders Award , NYTimes spotlight, and the animated trailer won a Silver Medal for The Society of Illistrators, Illustrators 55, among other accolades.
